Job Description:

Executive Chef for busy Whitetooth Mountain Bistro and The Rockwater Grill and Bar.
 
We are situated riverside in the heart of Golden, BC. Our guests include devoted locals, returning travellers and new visitors. The Whitetooth Bistro specializes in mountain fusion dishes, a full wine menu as well as catering. The Rockwater offers a fun but refined pub style menu, craft beer and craft cocktails. The Rockwater is also the go to music venue in the area. Our kitchen cooks for both establishments.

The company has enjoyed successful growth in the last few years. This is largely due to the great relationship amongst all staff; we highly value a happy and rewarding workplace. The owners are the day-to-day operators and are committed to being present for the business.

Job Requirements:

The Executive Chef reports to and works with the General Manager on menu design, execution, food costing, inventory and ordering, kitchen cleanliness, food safe procedures, hiring, scheduling and general management of kitchen staff. We are a high paced environment that offers high quality and exciting dishes!

The right individual will be able to step into this position as a mentor and a leader while utilizing their passions, experience, and vision. This is a great career opportunity to lead and realize your full potential as Executive Chef.
 
Minimum 5 years of relative kitchen management experience.
 
Job Type: Full time
 
Pay: Competitive salary based on experience, along with gratuities.
