Paint and apply plastic markings to and eradicate markings from roads, runways and parking lots.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract are required.
TCP certification and first aid training are assets.
A strong work ethic is a must. Work can only be done when the pavement is dry so we work long hours when it is dry and rest up when it rains.
Drug and alcohol use is not tolerated. Safety is paramount in this industry.
The job involves lots of travel. Work sites are throughout BC. You can expect to be away from home for most of the season. This job is not suitable for those with close ties to their community and a need to be home on a regular basis. The work is physically demanding, with some
lifting, a good deal of bending and lots of driving. There is lots of opportunity for overtime.
Starting wage is $12.00 per hour, increasing to $13.25 per hour after a month. Wage is negotiable for those with more than one year of experience. Accommodations are provided. Travel is paid
and a meal allowance is provided.
