Fubuki Sushi is a busy Japanese-style restaurant located in Invermere, B.C. three hours west of Calgary, Alberta. Invermere is a perfect home for outdoor enthusiasts and boasts ideal rock climbing, biking, natural hot springs, two ski resorts, and is situated on the edge of Lake Windermere. It is also has a strong art community and family-friendly schools.

Job Expectations

• You will be responsible for producing maki, nigiri, and sashimi. This position requires a chef who can consistently create quality dishes in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment.
• You will also be responsible for fish and food preparations and maintaining high levels of cleanliness.
• This is a sushi bar position, meaning you will converse with customers while you make sushi.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of sushi bar experience.
• Strong English language skills as our customer base is predominantly English-speaking Canadians.
• You work well with others, enjoy a team atmosphere, and can communicate well with a tightly knit group of about 10 staff members.
• You are passionate and hard working with a business attitude.

Salary and hours:
Full-time (40hrs/week)
$16-22 depending on experience (plus tips)
