Position: Program Representative
Type of Employment: Short-term, contract, May 5 – August 31, 2015
Rate of Pay: $15.00 per hour

We are currently seeking exceptional individuals to join our team as Program Representatives to merchandise and promote organic jointing sand designed for pavers and interlocking stone.
This program requires representatives to visit various retailers in designated areas to secure prime product placement, mount signage and educate and engage store management and associates on the product. Follow-up visits will take place to check in on product levels and marketing materials.
Hours are flexible and depend based on territory and retail locations.
Representatives may also receive travel compensation for program-related travel – Depending of your locations & territory
Training & event Schedule
Training: Webinar to take place week of April 27h, 2015
Schedule: Visits take place between May and August 2015 and will vary based on territory. Your visits will range from 1-3 hours. All representatives will be required to make their own appointments with store management and follow-up accordingly.
Responsibilities:
· Visit all stores in designated geographic area according to schedule of events
· Set up merchandising displays as per marketing plan (lifting of products may be required)
· Educate and engage with management and associates on the product
· Be knowledgeable on the product and successfully demo sample
· Complete reporting as required and submit by end of day of visit
· Submit before and after photos of site
· Complete online post-visit reports following each visit
Qualifications/Job Requirements:
· Access to a reliable vehicle to use for the duration of the program
· Outgoing and positive personality (and not afraid to wear green argyle!)
· Possess a background in environmental studies or have a strong interest in energy conservation
· Be comfortable and enjoy talking to groups of people
· Detail-oriented, punctual, conscientious, reliable and able to work independently
· Willingness to lift heavy product bags or negotiate with associates for help
· Access to a computer with the Internet and comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) to complete daily staffing and event documents
· 6 months – 1 year promotional and/or customer service experience
· Bilingual preferred in Ottawa, Sudbury and New Brunswick
· Mobile phone + digital camera is a MUST
