As a family friendly gallery, River Gems occupies the main floor of one of the heritage buildings in Invermere and is a favourite destination for rock hounds of all ages as well as discerning customers seeking beautiful and unique jewellery and gifts from Mother Nature's bounty. River Gems showcases many natural history artifacts like a cave bear, dinosaur egg, bones and teeth, trilobites, ammonites, orthoceras, fossilized fish and other sea life. Meteorites, tectites, and rock fragments from the Moon and Mars are also for sale.
