 The Lake Windermere Ambassadors are a non-profit Society with a mandate to protect Lake Windermere, at the headwaters of the Columbia River, in perpetuity.  We use cutting edge citizen science, community outreach, and environmental planning techniques to protect the lake ecosystem while supporting recreational and traditional uses.
