Company Description:

The Golden & District Historical Society is the only organization in Golden, who has a mandate to  enhance the quality of life of Golden and it’s surrounding communities by offering educational programs for all ages; providing stewardship of artifacts and buildings and advocating for our historic community.

 The Golden Museum, operated by the Society, has been at its present location since 1974 and houses artifacts and archives pertaining to the early settlers in the area.
