Municipal Government - Town of Golden

The Town of Golden was incorporated on June 26, 1957 and like most municipalities across BC, we continue to provide and expand a range of essential, expected, and extended services for our residents. 

We employ approximately 30 full time residents to ensure our corporation is able to provide the services that we offer, fulfill our legal obligations to the public, and maintain our community's livability.

We represent the most accessible and responsive level of government, with our Council and staff being local citizens and community members. Local government is a community effort - we urge you to learn more about us, and how you can become more involved, better informed, and and feel even better about this great place we call Golden
