The Friends of Fort Steele Society is a not-for-profit society dedicated to conserving, presenting and teaching the history of Fort Steele and the Kootenays on behalf of the Province of British Columbia, the Kootenay Communityand the members of the society.  The Friends will strive to develop mutually rewarding relationships with its employees,members, partners, suppliers and visitors.  High standards for safety and ethical conduct are components of all of our actvities.
