All job seekers can access an employment focused self-serve resource area through any EK Employment Centre or Kiosk The resource areas are hosted full-time by qualified staff who can help you, for example, proof-read your resume or get you set up on a computer. They feature:
No appointment necessary! Just drop by your local EK Employment Centre.

Build your knowledge and skills through one of our many workshops! Job seekers who meet basic eligibility criteria are welcome to attend. We can deliver roughly 50 different workshop topics. Each EK Employment Centre maintains its own workshop schedule and can schedule more based on demand and need. If you don't see it listed, just ask! Cranbrook's and Fernie's schedules are available online. To find out more and reserve your seat, just call your local EK Employment Centre.

Receive one-to-one support and services focused on your needs and goals. Job seekers who meet basic eligibility criteria are welcome to access focused, individualized support. This can include and is not limited to:

Job seekers who have a confirmed job offer (and have not yet started work) may be eligible to receive financial support to help them start work! For example, costs associated with getting to your first day of work, purchasing required equipment/supplies/clothing or completing a mandatory short-term certificate. Contact your local EK Employment Centre to book your first meet and greet (intake) appointment.
